Tributes
The one thing I remember about Kristen I that when it came to football season, She and her Dad were constantly calling each other during commercials she never stopped being a New England Patriot fan. Her Father was her hero. She never saw a full game after her hero left so unexpectedly.
Now she and her hero must be talking football once again with Men and Pep looking on. Walking hand in hand with their little brother well actually older brother in Heaven.

Kristen, my friend, my sister, I miss you dearly... I take comfort that you are free and have been reunited with the love of your Father, Grandmother, & Chewy. And I am consoled that you will join your father at the Patriots home games watching your favorite team together... which means you will watch over the team during the playoffs with no more remaining home games left for the regular season... hoping to celebrate another championship with your dad!
You've taught me about resiliency, to be strong about expressing opinions, to be determined and strong willed, to make the most of the situations, to enjoy life as best as possible. You loved your jokes, speeding in your chair, convincing me to take you out in the midst of winters in Worcester, eating lots of free Ben & Jerry's from your neighbor's brother who worked there, convincing me your dislike in an ingredient but loving the cooked meal with it, rolling your eyes to make your point and then immediately proceeding it with a great big smile. You teaching me how to transport you safely have allowed me to help my father during his need. I even expressed this gratitude to you just last weekend to a friend and took your picture out. There's so much more I miss about you. But I will think of you, remember you, and set forth what you have instilled in me.
I'm saddened that my holiday card was postmarked in time but didn't get to you in time to let you know how much you are loved... I'm sadden with juggling my parents care that I will not be able to see you, but our other sisters will be around to celebrate your life. With Sigma, Alpha, Delta... Til we meet again...my friend and sister... You are loved!
My heartfelt condolences to your family and all your loved ones. Smokey too...

Sigma Alpha Delta was our sorority. It was a huge part of both my life as well as the other sisters. We had a bond that many "outsiders " never could understand. We shared so much that in the end no matter where we were in the world we always remembered our sisters with a fondness and memory. I lived with Kristen for awhile back when we were students. I know we both learned a lot during that time. I can tell you that Kristen left a mark on my heart that will live on forever. I am a better person for having had Kristen in my life! I think God for creating such a wonderful, caring woman!

I met Kristen Parenteau in college and it was there, that our friendship began. We were two peas in a pod. Both with a twisted sense of humor & a love for Ozzy Osbourne, "Crazy Train!"
Kris suffered with a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy but by no means, let it define her! She was always up for adventure, like boating in the NH rapids, going to concerts (where we lost her wheelchair on 495, but that's a whole other story), and of course being with friends. She had a great sense of humor & when we were together, all we did was laugh.
Kris was my best friend and I'm so honored, to have had her in my life!
I'm gonna miss you, more than words can even express.
RIP, you ol sea hag! Yeah I know that made you smile, my dear friend.
